Recession, everybody is thinking about a recession. We’re probably good for 2022, maybe 2023; who knows whether the Fed does a soft landing or not. But again, we’ve all been hearing a lot about it. My question to you is, are you prepared for the possibility

So, here’s a little secret, COVID came out of nowhere, and nobody was prepared. We had maybe a week’s warning and about two weeks before we started slipping. There will not be another event like that unless there’s a pandemic. But here’s what happened. We shifted our organization recruiting rapidly to help our clients maintain or grow revenue. 

Number one, we re-engineered the approach of the business. After the initial shock of 4 to 6 weeks, we learned that most of our clients either resumed or plateaued, and no one went backward in revenue.

Second, as of late May and June, most of our clients began the growth trajectory again. While everyone else was sitting around sucking their thumbs, talking about how horrible COVID was, our clients were implementing systems that allowed them to approach companies during the downturn successfully

They weren’t doing anything drastically different; they did the right things at the right time. They were choosing action over reaction. Right now, June 2022 is the time to prepare because you have a runway of several months, if not a year, and maybe it never comes. But most economists are saying at least 2023.
